Hon Kenneth Clarke QC MP, formerly Chancellor of the Exchequer from 1993 -1997 and currently MP for Rushcliffe and Chairman of the Democracy Task Force.He held a number of senior positions in government including Secretary of State for the Home Office, Secretary of State for Education, Secretary of State for Health, Minister for Trade & Industry, Paymaster General and Minister of Employment.
