The Institute of Risk Management’s annual conference and award ceremony, the Risk Forum, takes place from 15-17 September at the University of Hertfordshire in Hatfield.
There are keynote speeches from General Sir Mike Jackson, Stephen Carver (Cranfield University), Risk Haythornthwaite (Chairman of the UK Government Risk and Regulation Advisory Council) and Shami Chakrabarti (Director of Liberty, the National Council for Civil Liberties). The programme of 38 workshops enables delegates to share knowledge and experience with specialists from leading risk management service providers and practicing risk professionals.
This year’s annual awards, which are included in the Forum, are hosted by comedian Frankie Boyle at the unique setting of Whipsnade Zoo on the evening of 16 September. The Forum is also an opportunity to meet members of IRM’s Special Interest and Regional Groups which provide an opportunity for members and non-members to exchange views and experiences, share best practice and network. It is therefore the perfect occasion to get up to date on the latest trends in enterprise risk management in an educational environment.
The two day delegate price includes the awards dinner and all food and accommodation on site.
