Job Description:

Designs and builds relational databases. Develops strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database. Cleans and maintains the database by removing and deleting old data. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Skills/Experience: Develop conceptual system integration designs and implementation strategies to use for all source systems to interface with ROME CreditRisk. Create detailed documents for implementation of integration and custom code with an understanding of long term implications for ROME support. Work with SME and BA to understand and develop business and functional requirements into a multi-tier J2EE based solution including custom user interface(s), business logic, and system-to-system interfaces. Work with client database administrators to establish database configurations that exceed business user performance requirements. Build prototypes and working models of complex or new design elements. Assist with reporting requirements and implementation. Develop and maintain application architecture artifacts including technical requirements, detailed design documents, and integration architecture. Contribute to business case documentation, project scope and project charter documents. Collaborate with client stakeholders to ensure that the integration architecture is aligned with the business requirements and technical needs of the client organization. Lead the implementation of integration. Work with the project technical stakeholders to successfully test integration and base product functionality. Lead the effort to resolve project technical problems for the integration code, custom code, and base product Communicate issues related to the base product to the Product Development Group. Adherence to integration design and coding standards. Assist with the transition to ROME support team as the project goes to production. Provide status updates to the ROME project manager for assigned deliverables. Be a regular contributor to the organic Tech Architect Network regarding Master Data Uploads, Integration, Reporting, Workflows, and Performance.
